On 20^th April 2022, at the annual meeting of the Russian Academy of Engineering (RAE), Professor Wu Jianping from the Department of Civil Engineering, along with 24 other Chinese experts, was elected as a foreign academician of the Russian Academy of Engineering. The newly elected academicians were recommended by the China Center of the Russian Academy of Engineering in 2021 and selected according to procedures. In his congratulatory message, RAE President Gusev B.V. expressed his hope that the newly elected academicians would carry out creative and effective scientific and technological cooperation for the sustained development of China and Russia.
