The Beijing Higher Education Teaching Excellence Award and the Young Teaching Excellence Award are awarded annually to full-time teachers who undertake undergraduate and vocational education tasks in higher education institutions and independent adult higher education institutions (approved by the Ministry of Education). Generally, candidates for the Teaching Excellence Award should have 15 or more years of teaching experience in higher education, and candidates for the Young Teaching Excellence Award should have 8 or more years of teaching experience in higher education, and their age should not exceed 45 years old.
