The Department of Hydraulic Engineering has established long-term partnerships with universities and research institutes from the United States, Canada, Russia, United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Australia, Japan, Korea and other countries, as well as China’s Hong Kongand Taiwan, and carried out dozens of international projects. Among those projects, the Kerry Group Kuok Foundation sponsored RMB 5 million to carry out researchon small watershed governance, the Chinese Office of the Department for International Development sponsored 890,000 pounds to support advanced interdisciplinary ability construction and international water cooperation, and Australia Lubiken Corporationsponsored 1 million Australian dollars for research on the internet of water.
