The School of Civil Engineering has established and continues to maintain close academic exchanges and cooperation with many universities around the world. More than 80 undergraduates and 120 graduate students participate in long- or short-term overseas exchanges annually. International summer courses were established in Structural Engineering, Transportation Planning and Construction Management. A joint International Cooperative Teaching program was held with UIUC. A joint doctoral program was conducted with the University of Melbourne. With increasingly frequent international exchange programs carrying out, College of Civil Engineering and Hydraulic Engineering has been developing stronger recognition in the international academic field.
